Denver Drill

This week’s training topic included evolutions to remove a downed firefighter from an upper floor, using a 2:1 mechanical advantage rope system, with a ground ladder as the high point. These skills are a part of our periodic Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) training, which keeps us ready with special techniques to remove an injured or downed firefighter.
