| This week’s training topic was a joint training with our partners at Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Our members were given the opportunity to familiarize with the ambulances and some of the equipment owned by Peekskill VAC. All career members are trained and certified as EMT’s, and respond & regularly work with the members of Peekskill VAC. Being familiar with each other’s equipment, ensures a seamless operation when providing care for a patient in the field. These periodic joint training opportunities strengthen our relationship with local agencies, ensuring we are as highly trained and prepared as possible to protect our community! |
