| Last week, Chief Seymour put some of his finely practiced skills to use - no, we’re not talking firefighting skills. Many years before his fire service career began, the Chief worked bagging groceries at a local supermarket. With the help of Shop-Rite, the Chief was able to get back to his roots for a few hours!
Chief Seymour participated in the “Help Bag Hunger” event at ShopRite. The guest baggers helped pack up groceries for customers at the registers, in hopes to receive donations to benefit those in need, through the ShopRite Partners In Caring.
To say the Chief had a “tote-ally” good time is an understatement, this event was really “in the bag, ” and he had a tough time at the end of the day “packing it in” (last one, we swear - don’t unfollow us!). Grocery bagging puns aside, we greatly appreciate the partnership of our local Shop-Rite, and are always glad to help our community! Thanks to all who generously donated! |
