| At 10am this morning, PFD responded to a reported house fire on Bernard Road in the Highland Park area of the City. Upon arrival, members encountered an active fire on the exterior of a single family private dwelling, that was beginning to extend to the exterior wall. Firefighters extinguished the fire and checked the interior of the dwelling to ensure the fire did not spread beyond the exterior wall.
A quick reporting and rapid fire department response kept this to a minor incident, and minimal damage to the dwelling. |
