Overview
The Peekskill Fire Department is a composite career and volunteer agency serving the City of Peekskill in Westchester County, New York. It comprises six fire companies operating from a modern, consolidated Fire Headquarters located at 1141 Main Street, constructed in 2018.

History & Evolution
Peekskill’s fire protection efforts began in 1826 with the founding of Columbian Engine Company. Over the 19th and 20th centuries, several independent fire companies were established. In 2018, all companies were consolidated under one roof at the modern headquarters to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
