| Yesterday, just before 12pm, we were dispatched to a fire alarm activation at a commercial building on Lower South Street, with a report of a fire in the building.
Upon arrival, the fire was reported to be extinguished. Members investigated and found fire extension that spread in the building. Car 2341 (Chief) transmitted a 10-75, bringing mutual aid resources from neighboring agencies to the scene, as well as a recall of off duty firefighters.
Firefighters worked intensely, both inside and on the exterior of the building to bring the fire under control by 1:30pm. No injuries were reported, all units returned to service shortly before 3pm. Thank you to all of our neighbors that responded to assist at the scene and that covered our station for additional alarms in the City, we always appreciate your help! |
